Services:

When working with Window Dressings, you will work directly with the owner, Wendi Carroll. Wendi is an experienced window treatment designer and fabricator. She has a vast knowledge of window treatment styles from Traditional to Contemporary and will assist you through every step of the process.

The Process:

Telephone Interview:

During this interview, Wendi will discuss and determine what rooms and windows you are looking to decorate, what your personal style is, what your existing color schemes are, any functional needs that you need met, and any deadline on completion you would like to make. At this time, an in-home consultation will be scheduled.

In Home Consultation:

This will be scheduled during the initial telephone interview. At your home, Wendi will take detailed measurements to ensure your window treatments will fit your windows perfectly. She will also take pictures of your windows. This will allow her to provide you with a computerized rendering of your completed window treatment(s) including fabric, trim, and hardware. It is also recommended prior to this meeting, you pull any photos, magazine pictures, or book ideas you like.

The Design:

After returning to the design studio, Wendi will select fabric, trims, and hardware that are appropriate for your windows, style, and functional needs. She will also create the computerized rendering at this time complete with fabric, trim, and hardware. This will be the time when the design is approved or changes are discussed.

Fabrication:

Once you have approved the design, fabric, and hardware choices, it will be time to fabricate. In most cases, you will have your new window coverings in 4-8 weeks after all fabric, trim, and hardware have arrived at the studio.

Installation:

Once fabrication has been completed, installation will be scheduled. On the day of installation, Wendi and her installer will install and dress your window treatment(s).

Wendi guarantees the quality of her work will meet, and most likely exceed, your expectations, if her specified guidelines are followed.

Computerized rendering: Is a window treatment that is designed to scale and applied to a picture of your windows which helps you visualize the completed project.

Fabrication: You can choose from a wide array of fabrics and trims or provide your own material (COM).

• Custom Window Treatments including: Draperies, Sheers, Cornices, Swags, Roman\ London\ Balloon Shades, Shower Curtains, and Valances.

• Bedding and Nursery ensembles including: bedspreads, comforters, shams, dust ruffles, pillows, bumper pads, and diaper stackers.

• Home Décor including: Table cloths, table runners, placemats, napkins, table rounds and table toppers.

• Custom Embroidery for shower curtains, pillows, valances, or any item you want to personalize.

Fabric: We carry quality fabric lines including: Robert Allen, Greenhouse Designs, Kravat, Kasmir, and Carole Fabrics etc….

Trim: Can turn an ordinary window into an extraordinary window. Embellish your treatments by using cording, beads, tassels, fringe, or luxurious tiebacks.

Hardware: Helps to accessorize and complete the look of your window. There is a wide variety of rods, finials, medallions, rings, holdbacks, and brackets to choose from.

Window Treatments can be the single most important element in pulling together your decorating scheme. The only limitation is your imagination!
